Through the window LCC

A very intriguing theme this month at Let's Craft and Create Challenge. I had a window die with opening panes and a lovely winter scene so the card came together quite quickly. If you are inclined please join the competition for this creative idea.

New Zealand beach series

Mangawhai Beach Museum is selling a fair few of my cards now in the summer tourist season. I haven't taken photos of all of them but here is a sample two recent cards. I design the text on my computer and use the background patterns in MS Word to give them some dimension and colour.

Keeping to the theme is a bit of a challenge as they are not girly or feminine which is my usual style!!

Easter - Lets Craft and Create

No Easter bunnies or eggs but this card has the Northern Hemisphere theme of spring and flowers. The stamp of a barrow of flowers and the backing card stock set the design for this card. An unusual colour combination but I did want to use the foiled cardstock so found patterned paper and colours to match. Join us at Lets Craft and Create

Craft Room Door Sign LCC

A theme for Mother prompted me to make this Craft Room door sign. The embroidery hoop wood shape is from Rosie's Studio in three sizes. I used the largest for this project. A small wooden bird shape top left fitted in with the materials and the paper pattern. Try your entry in Let's Craft and Create competitions.

Sympathy Rose

Sympathy cards can be difficult to get right , not too dreary but tasteful. I let the papers lead the design elements on this one. Spots are neutral looking and the colour story was appropriate. Whisper ink by Close to my Heart for the sentiment.

Love is in the Air - LCC

My first return effort for Let's Craft and Create. Love is in the Air competition click here to join the fun.
I used a paper purchased a few years ago from Kaisercraft. The house die cuts are a no brand product found on AliExpress. The sentiment is unusual and touching I feel.

Retail Specials

The Mangawhai Museum has one of my card stands in the Museum Shop which as a seasonal summer trade. The cards I make are " Beachy" or " Kiwi " and are identified as from the area. They have been great fun to make so now I can gear up my production with more free time.
